Ingredients:

Water – 2 cups

Salt – 1 tsp

Oil – 1 tsp

Rice Rava – 1 cup

Preparation:

Groundnut oil – 1/4th cup

Mustard – 1 tsp

Cumin – 1 tsp

Groundnuts – 3 tbsp

Chana dal – 2 tbsp

Urad dal – 1 tsp

Cashew – 1/4th cup

Curry leaves – 2 strings

Green chilies – 5, slits

Dry red chilies – 8

Ginger – 1 tsp, grated

Hing / Asafoetida – 1 tsp

Tamarind extract – 1/2 cup

Turmeric – 1/2 tsp

Salt – 1 tsp

Recipe Preparation Steps:

Step: 01

Take 2 cups of water in a pan and add 1 Tsp of salt, oil 1 Tsp and boil water.

Step: 02

Add 1 cup rice rava to the boiling water and cook 2 minutes on a medium flame, and close the lid and cook 10 to 15 minutes on a low flame.

Step: 03

Switch off the flame and let it cool and smash the cooked rava finely.

Step: 04

In a separate pan add 1/4th cup of groundnut oil, and add 1 Tsp of Mustard, 1 Tsp of Cumin, 3 Tbsp Groundnuts, 2 Tbsp chana dal, 1 Tsp urad dal, 1/4th cup of cashew nuts, 2 strings of curry leaves fry for two minutes and keep it aside.

Step: 05

In the same oil, add 5 green chilis slitted, 7 to 8 dry red chilis, 1 Tsp grated ginger, 1 Tsp hing / asafoetida, and fry for a minute.

Step: 06

Take 1/2 cup of tamarind extract and add 1/2 Tsp of turmeric to it and cook in a medium flame.

Step: 07

Now add the cooked rice rava to it and add the fried prepared dal mixture to it and all mix well, if needed add 1 Tsp of salt to it and mix and combine all well and switch off the flame.

Step: 08

That’s it tasty and simple breakfast recipe is ready to serve.

Ingredients:

Drumstick leaves – 3 cups

Tomato – 1 cup, chopped

Oil – 3 tsp

Green chili – 15

Chana dal – 1 tbsp

Urad dal – 1 tsp

Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp

Cumin – 1 tsp

Garlic – 5 pods

Tamarind – small lemon size, soaked

Salt – 1 tsp

Tempering:

Oil – 2 tsp
Mustard – 1 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds – pinch
Curry leaves – 1 string
Dry red chilies – 3
Hing / asafoetida – 1 tsp

Recipe Preparation Steps:

Step: 01

In a pan, take 2 Tsp of oil and add 12 to 15 green chili’s fry for a minute, take it out and keep it aside.

Step: 02

In the same pan add 1 Tbsp of chana dal fry for a minute, add 1 Tsp of urad dal, 1 Tbsp of sesame seeds, 1 Tsp Cumin, fry in a medium flame for a minute and take it outside and keep it aside.

Step: 03

Take 1 Tsp of oil, and add 1 cup of chopped tomato, 3 cups of drumstick leaves cook 15 minutes in medium flame.

Step: 04

After 15 minutes take out the leaves and let it cool down.

Step: 05

In a blender add the fried dal, fried chili’s blend it coarse.

Step: 06

Now add the cooked leaves to the blender, and add garlic 5 pods, small lemon sized soaked tamarind, salt 1 tsp / to taste and blend it coarse and keep it aside.

Step: 07

For tampering, add 2 Tsp of oil, 1 Tsp of Mustard, 1 Tsp urad dal, a pinch of fenugreek seeds, 1 string of curry leaves, 2 to 3 dry red chilies, 1 Tsp of Hing / Asafoetida, mix well and add it to the blended chutney.

Step: 10

That’s it, moringa ka achar or munaga aaku roti pachadi is ready to serve.

Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 Tsp
Curd – 1/2 Cup

Coriander Powder – 1 Tsp
Garam Masala – 1 Tsp
Mint – Handful
Kasuri Methi – 1 Tsp

Rice Preparation:

Basmati Rice – 2 Cups
Water – 6 Cups
Cloves – 4
Cinnamon – 1 Inch
Cardamom – 4 Pods
Bayleaf – 2
Shahi Jeera – 1 Tsp
Oil – 2 Tsp
Mint – Few
Salt – 2 Tsp
Fried Onions – Few
Saffron Water – 2 Tsp

Recipe Preparation Steps:

Step: 01

Heat 1/2 cup of oil in a non-stick pot, add 1/2 Tsp salt, 1/4th Tsp turmeric, 1 Tsp red chili powder, mix well and add 6-boiled eggs to the heated oil and fry for two mins and keep it aside.

Step: 02

In the same oil add 2-bay leaves, 2-Marathi moggu, 10-clove pods, 2-inch Cinnamon, 2-star anise, 4-cardamoms, 1-mace, 1 tsp shahi jeera, and fry for a minute till aroma releases.

Step: 03

Add chopped 2 big-sized onions, 2 tsp green chili paste, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste to the oil, and fry till the onions turn to golden brown color.

Step: 04

Now add 10 – 15 cashew nuts, chopped 1-big size tomato, 1-handful mint, 1 tsp Kasuri methi(crushed), 1/2 cup curd, fry till the tomato turns soft, and oil separates.

Step: 05

In this masala, add 1 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp salt mix, and cook well for two minutes.

Step: 06

After two minutes add the fried eggs, mix well and keep 3-eggs aside switch off the flame and take out the pot and keep it aside.

Step: 07

For preparing the rice to add 6 cups of water in a vessel, and add 4-pods of cloves, 4-pods of cardamom, 2-bay leaves, 1-inch cinnamon, 1 tsp shahi jeera, few mint leaves, oil 2 tsp, 2 tsp salt Mix all well and boil water well.

Step: 08

Now add 2 cups of 20 mins soaked basmati rice to the boiling water and cook till 80%. Now, take the rice and spread it across the eggs pot and add the remaining eggs on top of the rice layer and add 1/4th cup of boiling water on top of the rice layer and add a few mints and fried onions.

Step: 09

Now add the remaining 90% cooked rice on top of the eggs layer, and put this rice pot on the stove and add a few mints, few fried onions 2 tsp saffron water, a pinch of garam masala, 2 tsp ghee on top of the rice and put the flame in medium and cook for 10 mins, and on low flame cook for 5 mins, switch off the flame and leave it for 5 mins.

Step: 10

That’s it, perfect restaurant-style Hyderabadi egg dum biryani is ready to serve.
